4 Ways to Generate Leads For Your Landscaping & Garden Design Business

In this week’s podcast episode I am giving you 4 ways to generate more leads/enquiries in your landscaping or garden design business. This time of year always seems to attract more time wasters and not so serious projects but I am not worried, are you? Here are four ways to generate leads that I have used in my landscaping design and build company that have got results: Referrals - You can get referrals from happy clients to recommend you, setting up a referral  scheme to incentivise people to refer you and you could ask your business and wider network contacts for referrals. Think about who you know that is around your ideal client and who are your super fans who would happily recommend you? Website - Is your website easy to use for your clients? Is it easy for them to find and fill out your contact form? What exactly do you want your client to do when they get there? There are so many ways in which you can get your website generating leads. Listen in for more ideas. Lead Magnets - What are they? A piece of content you give away for free in return for someone's contact details. It needs to be valuable to the client, so what questions do you get asked all the time from your clients? Could you create something that answers these questions? Examples of lead magnets include; video training, checklist, guide, e-book, webinar, planner…the list goes on. Just get creating it and then marketing it! Print - This could be leaflets that you post through peoples doors or brochures. The main points to remember are; it needs to be eye catching and easy to read with strong branding. Then you need to tell them what to do next i.e. phone you, email you or scan the QR code. Once the design is done you need to pay attention to distribution.
