Most of us face the daily pressure to have the approval of others - to be people pleasing. While there is much Christian virture in prefering others and thinking of their needs, it is not God's will for us to be manipulated by people's opinions or to make them our true Lord. Even well meaning people can try to control us. Approval addicts, stand by to be set free!
