Jerry King: The Mental Game of Golf and How Its Mindset Lessons Serve You

A member of the PGA of America’s Quarter Century Club, Jerry has dedicated his career to teaching and coaching the game of golf for almost 30 years. He directed Kapalua Resort’s golf instruction program from 1995 - 2012 and was instrumental in the creation and overall conception and design of Hawaii’s premier state-of-the-art golf training facility, the Kapalua Golf Academy. Under his leadership, the Kapalua Golf Academy was recognized by GOLF Magazine in its “Top 25 Golf Schools in America”. Golf Digest magazine designated Jerry as “Top Teacher in Hawaii” ten times and since 2009, Jerry has been recognized as a GOLF Magazine TOP 100 Teacher. Following his tenure at Kapalua Resort, Jerry was on the Presidential Advisory Board for TaylorMade adidas Golf and directed sales in Hawaii, Guam & Saipan while concurrently owning & operating Jerry King Golf Instruction. In 2013, Jerry was recruited by Discovery Land Company and now directs golf instruction at several properties including El Dorado & Chileno Bay in Cabo Mexico, Gozzer Ranch Golf & Lake Club in Idaho and Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club in Austin Texas. Jerry has consistently contributed an extensive array of instructional articles to national publications and has been featured eight (8) times on The Golf Channel’s “Golf Academy Live” in Orlando, Florida. Jerry was the emcee and official starter of the PGA TOUR’s Tournament of Champions from 2000-2019.
