The Geek Gossip Annual #1

It’s the podcasts birthday, and in celebration of this very special event, we have a very special episode planned for you this week, which starts out with discussing the excitement (and confusion) brought to viewers everywhere in WandaVision episode five with the Family Ties vibe and a familiar face from comic movies past arriving in the West View universe. In other MCU news, we also touch base on the new series “Wakanda” Ryan Coogler teased about all the characters in the Black Panther universe, with the exception of the man himself because Marvel Studios said that they’re doing the right thing and not recasting Chadwick Boseman. Where will the future take the Black Panther franchise? Will perhaps Shuri take on the mantle of the Black Panther? We discuss! In Tales From the Dollar Bin, our dad joins us for one of our best Dollar Bin compilations ever where we all have some great adventures to review. Dad reviews comics like Night Force and a Wonder Woman issue both involving satan worshippers and Nova #5, which guest starred comic creators Marv Wolfman and Sal Buscema as they ran from a giant robot that Nova sure geeked out on nicknaming. Jack represents Valiant a little more this week when he reviews Turok: Dinosaur Hunter #1 and also looks back on his time on the forest moon of Endor in the first five issues of Ewoks from Star Comics, while Artie an issue of Shadowhawk where he fights the Savage Dragon. For some one year anniversary bonus content, Jack and Artie debate on several debatable geek topics such as what the best non-Disney animated movie is, who’s cooler between Iron Man and Captain America and more, all of which we’ve wanted to talk about on the show before but never had the chance to, so you can see this as our excuse to create arguments for your entertainment.
