“I am not Amar, and I am not Duval...We are The Flixters”! Hello Flixters! Welcome to another episode of the only film show you’ll ever need in your life. We have a Venomous show for you this week. We have devoted a lot of time to this week’s new release which is the monstrosity called Venom! Out on Blu Ray is the intense psychological horror, Hereditary, as well as the crazed The Hatred. We round up what new trailers are worth your time and what films or shows you should be watching in October. It’s been 10 years since we last saw Rambo take out what seems like the whole of the Burmese army. And it’s been 30 years since Bill Murray got all Scrooged up for Christmas in the dark comedy, Scrooged. We look at these and more in Anniversary Corner. In this week’s Hidden Gems section we’ve got some great recommendations. Thoma Jane (The Punisher) plays a confused 80s South African police officer who becomes a (in)famous bank robber in Stander. Oh and it’s based on a true story! Before playing the Incredible Hulk, Eric Bana played a notorious Australian gangster called Chopper. Watch this for his visceral portrayal of a madman on the loose. Oh and it’s based on a true story too! Then we bring you Judgment Night. A 90s B Movie which has become a cult classic. Four friends take a shortcut on a night out, and let's just say the shortcut idea didn't work out that well for them. As always we’ve filled the show with a lot of movie news as well as the UK’s box office top 10. Keep supporting us and keep listening!
