This week I talked to Sean Roddy a.k.a the beef farmer. Sean is the farmer manager in Lyon's estate in Kildare which is an 800 acre farm. We had a great discussion about farming, business and Sean's extensive career that took him from analysing carbon data from all the farmers supplying Sainsburys in the U.K to running a dairy farm in New Zealand.  In this episode we talk about stabiliser cattle and why everyone should be running them, farm safety and how Sean was nearly killed by a cow in Spring calving and COVID, how cattle crushes might come in handy to administer the COVID vaccine.
