Stacey Plaskett, the U.S. Virgin Islands delegate to the U.S. House, has called the civil lawsuit filed against her by six survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s trafficking scheme “frivolous.” In her motion seeking sanctions against the plaintiffs’ attorney, she described the accusations as “outright untruth, fiction and misrepresentation,” stating the attorney persisted with what she characterized as unfounded claims even after her legal team warned that continuing would trigger a Rule 11 motion. The lawsuit, originally filed in November 2023 and amended twice, alleged that Plaskett and other U.S. Virgin Islands officials helped facilitate Epstein’s trafficking operations, including through tax-break programs, fundraising, and other support.   Plaskett denied all the allegations, and by August 2025 the case against her alone was voluntarily dismissed with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled.to contact me:[email protected] a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.
