Light Up The World (LUTW) is a Canadian non-profit organization focused on the principle that access to energy changes lives. The organisation works in communities that don’t have access to electricity; now focusing operation in Peru. Joining us on this episode from Lima, Peru is Ruairi McLoughlin, the social enterprise manager of LUTW, Peru. We talk about the importance of the work being done by LUTW and also about solar technology and energy access. Ruairi also shares some of his own personal motivations behind the work he is doing, and how those motivations have taken him for an engineer in the UK, to lighting up homes for the first time in Peru.
