Behind the Scenes with Genesis’88 | Acid House 1989Genesis’88 staged three illegal parties in Ferry Lane, North London. The first epic party was on the 11th February 1989 and the last a few weeks later. Numerous waypoints worthy of note have been documented including fronting two police captains, standing up against two police riot squads, and staring down the barrel of a robbers gun. This is also the night their full security team demanded a cut of profits from then onwards otherwise they’d take the nights takings and leave.
