This is the preach I never got to give. The exposing, painful truth of Bruxy Cavey's sexually abusive history has been an incredibly difficult time for my own community at The Meeting House, the church with whom I served on the teaching team. It has also coincided with many other truths being revealed around Clergy Sexual Abuse, harassment and misconduct from other places as well—Brian Houston, and Christianity Today to name two others exposed just these last few days. It appears we are in a season where God is rooting out some deeply embedded sin. The temptation is to think this is a fight against flesh and blood. But it's much bigger than that. So, what do we do?
