Green Pastures and Still Waters (A Stroll Through Psalm 23 - Day 3)

Day 3 – Green Pastures and Still Waters Psalm 23 is known as The Shepherd’s Psalm. The Bible refers to the Lord as the Shepherd of His people. The Shepherd always has his eye on His sheep. His primary concern is the safety and welfare of His flock. Like a parent with a child, sometimes the Shepherd has to make his sheep rest. In what area of your life are you desperate for rest? Your Shepherd is guiding you to a place of refreshment. Nothing is more important than sitting at the feet of Jesus. Scripture References: He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters. Psalm 23:2 NIV For this is what the Lord GOD says: 'Behold, I Myself will search for My flock and seek them out. Ezekiel 34:11 BSB Oh God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you, my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Psalm 63:1 NIV He tends His flock like a shepherd; He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart.
