#177: When You Can't SEE Your Goal

When your coach says “you can create anything you want, what will it be,” and your mind goes blank - I’ve just discovered a reason I’ve not heard anyone talking about in the coaching community. This is me, BTW, a mind that goes blank wall, radio silence, crickets when coaches have asked me that question, and I always assumed it was inadequacy, but I’ve found another reason. Not only does this explain so much of how I have showed up in coaching rooms, but it requires an entirely different way of coaching than what I’ve been doing. Some of you will be shouting, “Oh Em Gee, that’s me!” Some of you, you just may use this episode to help coach clients who struggle with the same thing.
