Designer Advantage and Hiring with Amy Kartheiser | S27E5

Some guests on panel episodes have the energy that we like to look for. Our next guest was on a panel in Season 26 and we decided to bring her back. Amy Kartheiser (Amy Kartheiser Design) returns to The Chaise Lounge with Nick May. Amy got into interior design after years of working in a sales position that taught her a lot about business. She later bought her own loft and skipped out on work to go with her mom to the markets and pick out items for her place. She realized she liked designing so much that she started her own firm. Amy also shares her passion for suicide prevention and her charity Under the Same Sky she founded inspired by her family’s personal experience with suicide. Under the Same Sky launches November 21st.  Learn more about Amy Kartheiser Design by visiting their website www.amykartheiserdesign.com. To me that’s like A number 1 when you’re running a business is customer service and that job really taught me everything - not everything I needed to know about running a design business, but taught me what the important points are in running a business. So I’m forever grateful for it.
