Distance Learning – The New Normal?

In this unique view of distance learning, we will be speaking with three college students, from three different universities, on their personal experiences in this, in some cases very new learning environment. School closures have led educational institutions everywhere to scramble to move instruction to an online format. It is unfortunate, that once again, proper planning seems to have given way to crisis management and implementation. We will get real insights from real students on what they see and feel about this new reality. Questions discussed will include, beyond basic education topics, food, housing, money, learning access, feedback, social interactions, and the “new” academic life. EACOE and BACOE have been involved in Distance Learning for some years now. We also hope to gain insights “from the trenches” on what works, and what needs improvement.
