In his book (or monograph, really) He Disagreed With Something That Ate Him, author Cary Edwards analyses both Timothy Dalton James Bond films and concludes that they are among the very best in the franchise. But, which one is better? In this interview Don and Cary pit The Living Daylights (1987) against Licence To Kill (1989) to decide once and for all which of the two is the best. In order to do this, they compare the films on eleven typical James Bond elements, such as the villains, the ladies and the gadgets. Cary has been kind enough to send us three signed copies of his book, He Disagreed With Something That Ate Him and you can win one of those! All you have to do is compare Daylights to Licence for each of the eleven elements yourself and then afterwards motivate which film wins and why.
