#6 Sarah Geis

Sarah is a independent radio producer and editor, a former artistic director of Third Coast and the keeper of audioplayground.xyz. We fell in love with Sarah’s piece for BBC Shortcuts Geis & Geis: Pinball Machine Distributors. But as our conversation with her twisted and turned we ended up asking Sarah about her piece No Bad News which tells the story of American hypnotist Larry Garrett and Uday Hussein, son of Sadam Husein. This episode explores the art of interviewing and the interesting moral and ethical decisions around the stories we tell. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/telling-stories/message

Om Podcasten

A school for sharing ideas and inspiration around good storytelling. “What makes a good story?”, “What excites us most about stories?”, “How can we be better at engaging with this fragile and robust art form?” Each week Phoebe McIndoe and Redzi Bernard speak with a well-known storyteller to receive their golden insights and advice. Like all good schools, at the end of each episode there will be homework; a unique storytelling challenge for you to join in.
