#11 Sarah Cuddon

Redzi and I first discovered Sarah after listening to The wind phone for Heart and Soul which explores the beauty and rituals around grief. Sarah explores big ideas of loss in unusual ways in both The wind phone and another piece, The paddle out, which she also made for the BBC World Service. No matter how unfamiliar the ground appears at first, Sarah offers us the space to connect and exercise our own imagination within her stories. In this episode we talked about inviting magic into our work and the power of cross-fades. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/telling-stories/message

Om Podcasten

A school for sharing ideas and inspiration around good storytelling. “What makes a good story?”, “What excites us most about stories?”, “How can we be better at engaging with this fragile and robust art form?” Each week Phoebe McIndoe and Redzi Bernard speak with a well-known storyteller to receive their golden insights and advice. Like all good schools, at the end of each episode there will be homework; a unique storytelling challenge for you to join in.
