One instructive example is the Emergency Designer Network, established by Holly Fulton, Phoebe English, Bethany Williams and Cozette McCreery to produce much-needed scrubs, close to personal protective equipment (PPE) standard, for the NHS. London-based designer Fulton talked to Caroline Issa about how the collective came together, the challenges she’s encountered, and her hopes for the collaboration to be more than a stopgap solution.
