Episode 181: Talking 'Master of None' with Alan Yang and Michael Schur

Talking TV With Ryan and Ryan

Categories:

Hi there, it's Mo with a podcast all about the Netflix comedy "Master of None." I spoke to co-creator and executive producer Alan Yang and executive producer Mike Schur about the comedy and its origins and its point of view, and we also talked about the state of how TV deals with race, behind the scenes and on screen. These conversations were also part of a couple of big stories I'm dropping this week, on the ABC comedy "Black-ish" and on TV's new, more direct approach to matters of race. If you like this conversation with Schur, by the way, you may like a different conversation with him that we posted a few weeks ago.
