Lamorne Morris 4.0

LAMORNE “I Rise” MORRIS brought his A-game to the couch this week! The actor and entrepreneur continues the theme of guests acknowledging how terrible the TYSO studio/home looks. Nonetheless, THEY RISE to produce this rap-filled-chaos of an episode that goes nowhere and everywhere. Rick enquires about Lamorne’s fitness regime and how he stays in shape, while the two ponder the age old question “are you funnier if you’re out of shape?” Our host offers up popsicles and corn dogs only to be rebuked, and they argue about whether or not Jay-Z still watches this podcast.  Lamorne of course cannot show up without bringing his impression hat, and he gives us a near-perfect Jamie Foxx while recounting the story of how he knows the most talented man in Hollywood.  They break down the role of “The Confident Guy” and even do an improv session which somehow turns  into a tutorial on how to pick up chicks (poorly).  Honestly the second half of this episode is basically ‘Hamilton’ in podcast form as the duo decide to freestyle rap pretty much everything. We’re still waiting on our royalty cheque from Meghan Trainor, so this week's sponsor is the brand you’ve heard Rick talk about more than any other: HELIX! Helix is offering up to 200 dollars off all mattress orders AND two free pillows for our listeners at http://helixsleep.com/tyso RICK GLASSMANhttps://www.rickglassman.comhttps://www.patreon.com/takeyourshoesoffhttps://www.instagram.com/rickglassmanhttps://discord.gg/Z2v4HTC LAMORNE MORRIS:INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/lamorneLamorne 1.0: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZOtIVk3LxsLamorne 2.0: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpkLBvUPG_ELamorne 3.0: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wwmR5QlZf8 Music Beats: https://www.instagram.com/jordanjameslife & https://www.instagram.com/theyarethejam #RickGlassman #LamorneMorris #HollywoodHello  Support the show: https://www.patreon.com/takeyourshoesoff

Om Podcasten

Hi, I'm Rick Glassman, and I'm a goofy guy and a cute boy. As a kid, I had debilitating OCD. I still have a lot of “things.” The title of my podcast “Take Your Shoes Off” is a microcosm of my need for control and order in a world that... keeps their shoes on. I created this podcast to showcase a more serious side, as I have conversations with some of the funniest and most interesting people in the world. I’ve learned the language of comedy in an attempt to survive this shoes-on world, so of course there will be some goofs and spoofs, but think of this podcast as you being a fly on the wall, as opposed to being an audience member in a theatre. Please, take your shoes off, and enjoy!
