This episode will include: The importance of having a strong core in your business The qualities that make a strong core How to build a strong core Insights from Trans2 Performance (T2) consultants Key moments & quotes: 00:04:57:24 - 00:05:11:14- Tracy Roberts: So some of the stuff that I've just been kind of making notes on is that some people feel like the only way someone can advance at the company is to be promoted. They might think that their job can only be measured about how many people are underneath them. 00:12:27:03 - 00:12:48:06- Tracy Roberts: I just don't think we put enough emphasis on what a solid core this is in our organization. 00:18:43:14 - 00:19:04:22- James Cooper: For the middle managers that didn't say anything, did walk out the door, get frustrated and then moan to their team. And then as a consequence, we've seen it with all the managers where they've turned around, gone. There is not a chance, even if I'm so stressed, that I'm letting my team know about it. Yeah, because that's that's on me. 00:18:43:14 - 00:19:04:22- James Cooper: For the middle managers that didn't say anything, did walk out the door, get frustrated and then moan to their team. That's probably the big deadlift in the gym. 00:19:48:24 - 00:20:19:22- Tracy Roberts: But the reality is, I think we need to just draw a line there a little bit and say, okay, so if we've got middle managers who are really, really great yet in those papers loving what they do, I've put people processes, strengths and attributes. They all lines up for all and a lot of people in that middle role like that, if they're really good, if they're a master, then they like that element of being hands on, but also having that ability to deal with people and maybe even, like you say, to a turn on the shop floor from time to time because they get a bit of a hit from that. 00:22:05:11 - 00:22:19:13- Tracy Roberts: Okay? Because for me, that's the important thing. There's quick things, five things I wrote down here. So the first thing I wrote down is make middle management a destination, you know? Oh, yeah, You know. 00:25:51:18 - 00:25:53:04- James Cooper: Is that the professional nudge? šŸ”—Ā [Trans2 Performance Youtube](ā https://www.youtube.com/@trans2performanceā ā ) šŸ”—Ā [Trans2 Performance Linkedin](ā https://www.linkedin.com/company/9404485ā ā ) šŸ”—Ā [Trans2 Performance Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/trans2performance/?hl=en) šŸ”—Ā [Trans2 Performance Tiktok] (https://www.tiktok.com/@t2_performanceā ) šŸ”—Ā [Trans2 Performance Facebook](ā https://www.facebook.com/trans2performanceā ā ) Contact us: āž¤Ā ā [email protected]ā Ā  Don't miss out on future episodes!
