Episode 227 – Emma Knewstub – Life, Death, and Business…

Emma’s Guide to Marketing & Preparing for the Inevitable Marketing and advertising are essential components of any business strategy, and they thrive on the principles of differentiation, experimentation, feedback, and continuous improvement. It involves trying out various approaches, experimenting with different messaging and mediums, and carefully measuring the audience’s reactions to refine your messaging and product or service, get more leads and maximise your outcome. By constantly getting customers’ feedback, you can better understand your target market, evolve and adapt your strategies and provide exceptional messaging and products through mediums with a high conversion rate. In this episode, Emma Knewstub talks about marketing and advertising and how as a business owner, you can enhance your messaging and mediums to attract more leads and clients. She also delves into an essential topic that is rarely discussed in the business space, death and how we can prepare for it, emphasising the significance of post-death support and education for business owners and their employees.  Emma graduated with a degree in Marketing and Advertising and worked in agencies in London and over in Australia for some huge blue-chip brands. She established her own marketing consultancy in 2013 and worked predominantly in automotive tech. Emma has been on a journey since she started working for herself almost a decade ago with Magnificent Stuff. She learned a great deal from both the large corporates and the small businesses that she has been lucky enough to have engaged with. Her next move took her with all her learnings and became an integral part of something very exciting! Her sister, her partner’s daughter, and herself all work for Laurelo HQ with a team of consultants, BDM’s and compliance specialists throughout the country. Sadly, Emma is now parenting her 3 boys alone as their father passed away. Adjusting to their new circumstances has shown her a side of the death sector that she has become very passionate about improving – post-death education and what happens when someone dies.
