The major averages opening in the green as the Dow attempt its first back-to-back gains in 6 weeks. California's Governor Newsom on Thursday issued a statewide for all 40 million residents to 'stay at home' amid the outbreak and the order is in place until further notice. Walmart says it's hiring 150,000 new associate through the end of May, as demand picks up due to the coronavirus. The company also says it will pay special cash bonuses to its hourly employees, $300 for full-time hourly associates and $150 for part-time hourly workers. Plus, Danny Meyer joins Carl, Jim and David after laying off 2,000 workers, or 80% of his employees.
