“This person does not like me”, “I am not as good as the others” – How many of you have these thoughts as well? Do you know that when you are afraid that other people might think negatively about you? The good news is: This is not the reality. The fear that you might annoy other people, that you are not good enough or that they don’t like you is a creation of your own mind. This is what we call a ‘limiting dogma’. It is a thought that has anchored in our brain based on a previous experience, that had caused strong emotions in us. However, that does not have to mean that this experience will repeat again and again. Your future is not the automatic continuation of your past! Just because one person made a negative comment about you many years ago, it does not mean that nowadays your colleagues, friends and family think about you in the same way. But when such dogmas still limit you to open up and to speak up for your interest, it is time to get aware of them – and also talk about them. In this new podcast episode, I would like to share the story with you, why I (still) have this limiting dogma that I am annoying other people and what I do to overcome it. And if I was able to make this impressive development to get more much self-confident, you can do that as well! My video course “6 powerful tools to push your self-confidence” contains those tools, which have helped me the most and which are based on proven methods used in personal development coaching and NLP. You can work through the videos in your own pace in a safe environment. With the exercises you will identify your strengths, values and targets – and also which dogmas limit you. A better self-awareness is the basis for your (professional) success and a better communication with others! You can find my video course “6 powerful tools to push your self-confidence” under www.michaela-kettner.coach/my-offers. And if you are based in Helsinki, I would look forward to welcome you in my workshop about “How to set yourself the right targets and remove limiting dogmas so that you can really reach your goals”, which I will give on the 22nd September for the Helsinki Spouse Program. The event will be announced on the website, where you can also find all information about the Spouse Program: https://spouseprogram.fi.
