Zenith Minerals (ASX: ZNC) forms major lithium joint venture with EV Metals Group (w/ Michael Clifford)

Zenith Minerals (ASX: ZNC) chief executive officer Michael Clifford and EV Metals Group managing director Michael Naylor join Small Caps to discuss their companies' new lithium-focused partnership. Under a joint venture agreement, the pair will explore for lithium at Zenith's Split Rocks and Waratah Well projects in Western Australia. Saudi Arabia-based EV Metals has agreed to spend a minimum of $7 million on exploration on the projects and can earn a 60% interest in the lithium rights by sold funding the completion of a feasibility study within 24 months. In addition, EV Metals will subscribe for 20 million Zenith shares at $0.30 each to raise $6 million with funds to be used to source new lithium opportunities, near-term advancement of Zenith's gold and base metals portfolio and for working capital.
