Triangle Energy (ASX: TEG) managing director Rob Towner joins Small Caps to discuss the company's proposal to establish a modular, flexible feed renewable fuel refinery in Western Australia's Mid-West. The Perth Basin oil producer has commenced a front end engineering design (FEED) study to investigate the potential to produce 5,000 barrels per day of bio-crude fuel stocks, crude and condensate products from the Cliff Head joint venture and other onshore and offshore operations in the state. The proposed project aims to respond to growing demand from the mining and heavy transport sectors by delivering both renewable diesel and renewable marine fuel for the WA market. First production is targeted for early 2024.
