Dame Prue Leith is a Restauranteur, Cookery Writer, Novelist, Presenter, Broadcaster and best known for her 11 years on Great British Menu and as one of our favorite judges on The Great British Bake off. Her colourful career involves running a successful catering business, a Michelin star Restaurant and founding a number of cookery schools. She has written 8 novels and 14 cookbooks and in 2021 was made a Dame for her services to food, broadcasting and charity. In this episode Prue delves deep into some amazing stories from her life and career including how she got into TV, her proudest moments and how she got her job on GBBO. She discusses her Sliding Doors Moment with her foodie awakening in Paris that set her on the path to become a cook and tell a little white lie to train at Le Cordon Bleu!
