This is a teaser for a bonus episode. You can listen to it in full on Patreon! Where did we leave off? Last we saw them, Zelda had an affair with a French aviator, and Scott said their marriage would “never be the same.”  He was correct, as their relationship took dark turns for the worse. Scott befriended Ernest Hemingway in Paris, who told him “Zelda just wants to destroy you.” Zelda’s mental health deteriorated as she and Scott fought, and she entered many mental institutions in the following years.  Yet even while Scott and Zelda became separated over time, they still wrote heartfelt letters to each other for the rest of their lives. Their relationship was far from perfect, but it’s still a love story influencing pop culture, literature (and now us!) to this day. 🎶 Want more of the ‘20s and the Fitzgeralds?
