Welcome to episode 57 of Shoot Edit Chat Repeat, the podcast for people photographers & creative entrepreneurs. Hosted by two leading UK portrait photographers, Vicki Knights & Eddie Judd.   Today is Mental Health Awareness Day, so we have a special episode for you. We invited our lovely friend and business coach, Emily Hodge for a chat about how we can protect our mental health when running a business.   A 2018 study showed that 58% of entrepreneurs have suffered with their mental health, and 55% said that running a business negatively affects their mental health.   We wanted to dive into this a bit further and talk through the factors that the entrepreneurs stated that negatively affect their mental health. Things such as workload, isolation, lack of support, positivity pressure, money & failure. We discuss our experiences, and give suggestions and tips to help.  You can see Emily Hodge's website here. Mental Health charities mentioned: MIND  Heads Together Calm The Samaritans     Thank you to The Design Space for sponsoring this episode.
