Episode 271 of the Seibertron.com Twincast Podcast starts off with impressions of the long-rumored Kingdom Commander Class Rodimus Prime figure, or at least what can be formulated by the single low resolution image of part of the figure. Next, official images of Movie Masterpiece Optimus Prime drive a conversation about Masterpiece toys, leading to conversation on the direction and philosophies behind both the Movie and G1 segments of the line. This leads into more MP talk about the upcoming Skids figure, as new images of its prototype have been made available. After a quick look at Generations Selects Transmutate, the talk shifts to cartoon series, with the forthcomig Botbots series on Netflix as well as the very nebulous Nickelodeon series under the microscope. The Beast Wars rumors keep coming with some unexpected listings on the Walmart site including Vintage Optimus Primal, Trex Megatron, Rattrap and Cheetor. Super7's announcement of the characters we will be seeing in waves 2 and 3 of their Ultimates line, which include Pretender Bludgeon, Wreck-gar and Tarn from the IDW series, wrap up our toy talk.
