Sierra Hull

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sierra Hull joins Maggie for this first episode of Season 2. Sierra tells Maggie about her first Grand Ole Opry experience, how she discovered her sound as an artist, and what she learned by working with her longtime idols, like Alison Krauss. In her first 25 years alone, Sierra Hull hit more milestones than many musicians accomplish in a lifetime. After making her Grand Ole Opry debut at the age of 10, the Tennessee-bred virtuoso mandolinist played Carnegie Hall at age 12, then landed a deal with Rounder Records just a year later. Now at 28, Hull is set to deliver her fourth full- length for Rounder: an elegantly inventive and endlessly captivating album called 25 Trips. Salute the Songbird is brought to you by Osiris Media. Hosted by Maggie Rose. Produced by Austin Marshall, Maggie Rose, Kirsten Cluthe and Brad Stratton. Production assistance by Revoice Media. Music by Maggie Rose. Artwork by Katherine Boils.
