In this final episode of Season One, musician, songwriter and author Kathy Valentine joins Maggie to talk about growing up in Austin as the only child of a single mom, becoming the bassist for The Go-Go’s, and the process of writing her memoir, ‘All I Ever Wanted.’ Kathy shares some of her earliest musical influences and memories, what it was like to be a female in the rock industry in the 80s, and the creative projects that she's working on now.Kathy Valentine has been a working musician and songwriter for over 40 years, ever since she started her first band at age 16 in her hometown of Austin, Texas. After moving to Los Angeles, Kathy joined a band that would go on to make music history: The Go-Go’s.
