003 - Hammersmith (Circle and Hammersmith & City lines)

There are two stations at Hammersmith - in this episode we discuss the older of the two, which today serves the Circle and Hammersmith and City lines, discovering a history of corporate rivalry and alliances, multiple reconstructions, state of the art signalling, and a barbershop open since 1911. Note - We recorded this episode in March 2021, while London was still under lockdown due to Covid-19, so we make a few references to not being allowed out and plans for when lockdown ends.
