Dr. Chayim Newman and Zack Borer (Amber Health)

We're talking mental health this week with Chayim Newman and Zack Borer of Amber Health, a new venture designed to address the mental health crisis in the live music industry with broad-based solutions designed to ease the constant burden faced by the true road warriors out there working to present amazing live shows.  Chayim is a PhD in Clinical Psychology and Zack is a Marriage and Family Counselor and together, they work tirelessly to help those faced with tremendous stress on a daily basis. While last month was indeed Mental Health Awareness Month, Zack and Chayim are constantly fighting a battle and providing support to help stem this true crisis in mental health faced by those who bring us the live music we love so much. In the industry, the rates of depression, anxiety and suicide risk are 5-10 times greater than those in the general population, and this sobering statistic alone underscores how truly serious the problem is. Amber Health works with large organizations such as Playa Luna Presents (fka CID), Newport Folk & Jazz Festivals and the Country Music Association, among others, to help manage the staggering pressure and anxiety present on the frontlines.  Roadcase supports all those fighting to battle the industry's mental health crisis and Amber Health stands strong in making this a better environment for all those involved.  Come learn about these true heroes who are working behind the scenes to make this a safer and more emotionally supportive industry. For more info about Amber Health:https://amber.health/For more information on Roadcase: https://linktr.ee/roadcasepod and https://www.roadcasepod.comContact: [email protected] theme music:  "Eugene (Instrumental)" by Waltzer
