The Rigs of Dad Prodcast ep 40: Phil Towle (the therapist from "Some Kind of Monster")

Rigs of Dad Prodcast - A podcast by Rigs of Dad - Ross Hurt

Phil Towle is probably best known for his work that was documented in the Metallica documentary, "Some Kind of Monster"; but honestly, he should be known as the shining light we all look for on the darkest of days.  A truly disarming, personable, and insightful guy with tons of great advice for bands at all levels. Kirk Hammet of Metallica said "If Lennon and McCartney had Phil, the Beatles would never have broken up." I think any band could be inserted in that sentence...  We talk a great deal about "Some Kind of Monster", the reception of St. Anger, addiction, hardship that often runs with art, the price of fame, and more.  Fantastic conversation with a truly fantastic dude. If you want to hear more fun stuff, the extended version of this conversation is available to patrons on all tiers.
