Rebuilding Beautiful #5 - Ginger Stache

My guest for Rebuilding Beautiful Episode 5 is Ginger Stache. Ginger is an Emmy award-winning documentarian, writer, producer, and talk show host who is just as comfortable in the African bush as she is on a TV set. She has traveled the world telling stories of amazing people who overcome incredible odds. Ginger is a firm believer in the power of compassion and relentlessly fighting for justice. Ginger is also the chief creative officer at Joyce Meyer Ministries and can be seen on Joyce’s Enjoying Everyday Life program and hosting Joyce Meyer’s Talk It Out podcast. She is a miner of the best in people, the creative approach, beauty in all things, and joy in each day. She’s an unashamed sci-fi nerd, loves kids’ giggles, laughing till she cries, and shoes. In our conversation, we talk about her new book Chasing Wonder, and practical ways to do just that in our own lives. Ginger’s passion for life and adventure is contagious and I know it will encourage all of us to stay present to the moment, and open up our eyes a little more to the wonder that is all around us. Om Podcasten

There is a question I have asked myself over and over again these last few years as I have worked hard to rebuild my life, the question is this: “how do I move forward from here?” If I’m being honest I’m still learning how to answer that question, and I know it’s a question that many of us will have to answer at some point along the way. Because the truth is, none of us are exempt from pain. So, what do we do when life doesn’t go the way we planned? What do we do when the suicide happens? What do we do when the cancer diagnosis invades our reality? What do we do when divorce tears our world apart? What do we do when our dreams are shattered? Can life really be beautiful again? How do we move forward from here?Well my hope is that this would be a space where we can have real conversations with friends who have discovered their own answers to these questions as they have fought hard to find a way to build a beautiful life around their pain. Because if there is anything I’ve learned these last few years it’s that the pain doesn’t just go away, it moves forward with us. And as that same confusing, indescribable, knot in our stomach pain settles into our reality our job isn’t to try run away from it, or numb it, or get rid of it, our job is to discover how build a beautiful life around it.And I truly believe that this will be a safe space where we can be inspired to do just that. These conversations will be powerful, inspiring, full of hope, and really helpful and I am so excited to lean in, learn, and grow as we rebuild beautiful together. Let’s chase after it! There is so much more ahead, I can’t wait!
