Hey Sister! Whether you’re living in a waiting time, waiting for answers – about what God wants you to do in this season or for how to deal with a certain relationship or dilemma you’re facing – or whether you’re living through a sudden something that came out of nowhere and has pulled the rug out from under you…the question rises up again and again inside us – how can I live with faith when I don’t know what God is doing? Sure, we’ve got the big picture – we know God promises to work all things for good in the lives of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). But so many times life is like when I went to the big box store, saw a bookcase that I wanted, and bought it. But you know how this works, you don’t get the bookcase you see in the store. No, you bring the bookcase home in a box, and you have to put it together! I could see the picture of the bookcase on the box cover – but when I opened the box, there was no instruction sheet for what to do with all the little pieces all in those little baggies! Just sayin’ -- my life of faith can seem a lot like that sometimes. So, today we’re talking about going out in faith when you don’t know where you’re going. When you don’t know where God is leading you or you can’t see God’s plan. The story of Abraham gives us some great insights into the "how to" of walking in faith when you’re in the messy middle, so if you’re feeling a bit like I did with my DIY project and no instruction sheet, I believe this episode will bless you!
