Les Wood is a writer whose debut novel, Dark Side of the Moon, was published in late 2016 by Freight Books and sold out two print runs. The book was well-received, gaining good reviews in the press, and was listed by Booklist as one of the top 10 crime novels of 2017. HIs second novel, Close to the Edge, is currently wandering the wilds looking for a new publisher, and he has already started work on his third novel. In his day job, Les teach Human Physiology at Glasgow Caledonian University (using mini crime stories to teach his students about the workings of the human body!).
