S13 E6 “Disco-Mentary”
In this week's episode, we discuss the history of disco and racism that was noticeably absent from Ru’s voiceovers, our second installment of CUKC, and whether Drag Race is the gentrification of drag. League Standings: Charles (Utica Queen, Gottmik, Kahmora Hall, Tamisha Iman)- 79 Daniel (Denali, Olivia Lux, LaLa Ri)- 98 Rebecca (Kandy Muse, Elliott, Tina Burner)- 79 Robert (Symone, Rosé, Joey Jay)- 49 League Rules: Each player chooses three queens for their team for the entirety of the season. These queens are awarded points for winning a maxi challenge (10 points), winning a mini-challenge (3 points), surviving a lip-sync (5 points), and just appearing on the episode ("The Naomi Smalls Rule" 1 point). In addition, each player completes a weekly draft card in which they guess the maxi challenge winner (10 points), the two lipsyncing queens (5 points each) and the eliminated queen (10 points), as well as a weekly bonus question (3 points).
