Our natural inclination isn't towards surrender but towards pursuing our own desires effortlessly. Nonetheless, God is actively working in the world, prompting us to join in. Every encounter presents an opportunity to trust and engage with God's plan. Yet, our tendency is to interpret these encounters based on our preconceived notions, hindering our ability to perceive as God does. Only by transcending our self-interest and embracing Jesus's perspective can we truly understand. This journey might bring uncertainty and require us to contemplate deeply, challenging our usual way of thinking. Ultimately, obedience stems from knowing and trusting God, leading us to submit radically and love others compassionately. Creating a community rooted in redemption demands this level of commitment, reminding us that if our perceptions of God align too closely with our own biases, we've distorted His image.
