The journey of faith isn't a quick fix for a good life, but rather a way of life that requires attentiveness, resolve, and stubborn faithfulness. It can be easy to let our lives drift toward apathy, but devotion to God leads us to continue pursuing God, trusting that when we draw near to God, God draws even nearer to us! Gracious resistance prioritizes God’s presence over our comfort. We pray that we will become a counter-cultural community of well-rested people who aren't prone to cynicism or apathy but rather a hope that finds its expression in how we care for the world.
