Artist Spotlight: Wendy Middaugh

After our return from our first ever Masterclass, it became obvious to us that there was a strong desire amongst the attendees that they wanted to learn more about each other and share the joys and frustration of their paper flower journey; however they had no platform, other than The Paper Florist Facebook Group, to do this. While The Paper Florist Facebook Group is a wonderful place to share our art and quickly talk techniques without judgment, we felt we needed another platform that would allow us to engage with our members on a more intimate and personal level. To address this need, we decided to start a podcast so we could engage directly with members and celebrate their beautiful paper flower making through thoughtful and engaging discussions on a monthly basis. In our very first podcast, we are featuring the wonderful Wendy Middaugh of WJM Paper Floral Designs. Wendy resides just southwest of the Twin Cities in Minnesota, U.S.A. She’s been making paper flowers for about 1.5 years, picking up the craft via YouTube tutorials. She currently works full time as a lab technician, however, you can find her making paper flowers all the time and selling them via her website, WJM Paper Floral Designs. She’s also got a Instagram presence, sharing her craft with her followers under @wjmpaperfloraldesigns.
