This is it – the last ever One Foot special to review. Sad and heartfelt times for me – and particularly for an episode that offers so much more than a regular sitcom. The Meldrew’s relationship is put to the test when there’s pent-up anger felt from Margaret over Victor’s misdemeanours, paranoias and the purchase of a second-hand allegedly haunted caravan. Derek and Betty move-in to the Trench’s old place and it won’t be long before their upbeat positivity and outlook of the Meldrews comes tumbling down!
