The first episode of Oh That Jazz podcast is all about meeting the Boyz. In the studio the hosts Olle Dernevik and Martin Giles chat with Oh that Jazz bassist Johnny Åman and guitarist Per-Oscar Nilsson. The subjects in this episode range from swamps in Vietnam, tattoos, drunken chauffeurs and who influences their music. Olle Dernevik who usually sits behind his drum kit, has thrown his sticks in the air and promised us some amazing guests from the world of Jazz. Oh That Jazz, is a concept to pull people together under these bizarre times of Covid19… Sweden is one of the only countries in the world too still have live Jazz music. Olle, Johnny and Per-Oscar play live every Monday evening from the Family Pub in Malmö at 8pm CET. Because of social distancing, Oh that Jazz is also live streamed at the same time.
