Full House: S5E3: Take My Sister Please (SISTERS Double Feature PART 1)

Happy Full House Friday, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered Full House S5E3: Take My Sister Please, which aired on October 1, 1991, as the last episode in the SISTERS Double Feature PART 1 In this episode DJ lobbies for her own bedroom, but Michelle is reluctant to share a room with Stephanie, who is depressed because nobody wants her as a roommate. Also Danny and Joey both compete for the attention of Becky's child birth coach Lisa, sadly Danny loses out to Joey because Lisa can't get enough of Joey's cartoon impressions (being we never see her again, I take it at some point she grew weary of the impressions). Becky's got a tight leash on Jesse as she sends him on food craving errands that rapidly change over the course of a shopping trip, but that's nothing when Becky's cravings for watermelon send Jesse across the border and even out of the country for Swiss Chocolate. Lucky for Jesse, he finally draws the line at the last two and says enough is enough. This was a fun episode and I even learned a strange but interesting fact from Joey that played on a loop in my head when I went to the theater to see the 2012 movie release Lincoln. President Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln and President Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy. Join me next week when I kick off the Back To School PART 3 Series in September with Full House S3E4: Nerd For A Day, which aired on October 13, 1989. In this episode Stephanie and the rest of her class get detention for calling classmate Walter "Duck Face." Uncle Jesse says being nice to people is important and makes her call Walter to apologize. Unfortunately, Walter takes this to mean Stephanie is his girlfriend, and she suggests being his "secret girlfriend" instead of rejecting him outright and hurting his feelings. The next day when her friends come over to work on a school project, Walter shows up just before everyone else and they find him holding her hand. Have a great remainder of August and I'll see you in September. To EMAIL The Podcast GO GO: [email protected]
