Atletico, Barca, Dortmund and Lazio progress to the Round of 16

Four more teams confirmed their places in the Champions League Round of 16, after impressive Matchday 5 wins for Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Lazio. In the Parc des Princes, Kylian Mbappe’s late penalty rescued a point for Paris to deny Newcastle a memorable away win and tee up a tense three way battle for second spot in Group F on Matchday 6 after Milan lost at home to Dortmund. In Group G, Manchester City sealed top spot with a 3-2 comeback win over Leipzig and in Group H, Barcelona beat Porto 2-1 to progress to the knockout stage, with Shakhtar setting up a winner takes all Matchday 6 clash with Porto after they overcame Antwerp 1-0 in Hamburg.
