I feel it’s a very special episode. I really enjoyed making it. We’re going to talk about sensory memories. When you move a lot, you get to experience different environments. And sometimes, it’s the little things that you miss: the temperature, the way the sun feels on your skin, the birds, the smells. In this episode, I’ll talk about this strange feeling of missing sensory experience that you used to have.Extracts from the episode (translated from Spanish)Olfactory memories are intense. When you smell something that reminds you of something, it transports you. And sometimes in a moment, because of the temperature, the smell, a sound or something, you travel back in time and when it happens it is almost magical.Imagine, if we could feel for a moment the feeling of a place where we used to live. Where would you go? What would you like to feel?In this chapter, I am going to describe two feelings that I used to feel when living in Conakry and in Buenos Aires. These memories make me smile, or rather they make me melancholic.
