Nick and Jane also take a dig into the preliminary notices from this year's return of mares, talk about the Irish jockeys' title and consider the emergence of a major new player on the bloodstock scene. Trainer Richard Fahey pays a heartfelt tribute to Perfect Power, who retires to Dalham Hall in 2023, and also gives a positive bulletin on his two Breeders' Cup runners, while jockey James MacDonald looks forward to Aanamoe in the Cox Plate and German challenger Loft in the Melbourne Cup.
