Ep 528 - "We're voting with our feet" says Beckett

Tom is joined initially by President of the NTF Ralph Beckett who addresses the fact that none of the thirteen horses entered in Newbury's final race tomorrow, one of which is trained by him, were declared to run. Ralph also touches on the news that his horse Westover now heads the betting for the King George and says a decision as to whether they run and to who rides will be made on Monday. Jane Mangan is Tom's guest and she reacts to Ralph's comments and also to Price AA Faisal's assertion that David Egan refused to renew his contract with the owner. It's also the last day of Hong Kong's season tomorrow and Jim McGrath is along to look ahead to the culmination of the jockey's championship.
