Understanding the IELTS Speaking Band Descriptors

The examiner will use the IELTS speaking band descriptors to give you a score in 4 areas: Fluency and Coherence, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range and Accuracy, and Pronunciation. But, what exactly are they looking for in these areas? Today, Nick and I will use our experience as IELTS teachers  to interpret the band descriptors (I mean, what is a "pronunciation feature"?) and explain what we are looking for to give a 6, 7 or 8.
